Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently
unveiled plans for a $5 million "Gold Card" visa, prompting the
question: Does Canada have a similar option? The simple answer is NO.
However, Canada does have Start-up Visa Program, which allows foreign entrepreneurs to immigrate to Canada to start a business, applies to Ontario, and successful candidates can obtain permanent residency.

It takes about 40 months, or just over three years, for most Start-Up Visa
applications to be processed. However, this is just an estimate, and the actual
time can vary based on how busy the immigration office is.
Please
note At present, there is a limit on the number
of applications that will be reviewed per designated organization. Applications
will be processed in the order they are received. This limit will remain in
effect until December 31, 2026.
